KIRK-WINDEYER CUP

POSTPONEMENT THIS YEAR

SYDNEY, March 22.

Mr. E. Withycombe, the secretary of the New South "Wales Go;f Council, announced today that, owing to sickness and other causes, a team could not be obtained for. the Kirk-Windeyer Cup match in New Zealand, and a postponement of the match until 1934 will be sought.

The position is a little- more definite than expressed in tho above message. Tho secretary of tho New Zealand Golf Association (Mr. G. O. Sutton), has received the following cable:— "Unnblo obtain representative team. Obliged postpone until next year, venuo to remain New Zealand. 1' Signed (Withycombe).
