PILOT SAVES LIFE

LONDON, March 22.
Reaching^, height of 28,000 feet over Farnborough aerodrome, Plight-Lieut. G. H. Stainforth saw his observer, Watson, collapse in his seat owing to a fault in a new oxygen-breathing apparatus which they were testing. Watson turned black in the face Stainforth immediately made a spiral-dive to earth, where Watson revived under artificial respiration. He was rushed to hospital, and is now recovering.
