ASSEMBLING OF TEAMS
Tho first crieko't Test match, between the M.C.C. team and New Zealand, is to commence at Lancaster Paris tomorrow, and most of tho members of both teams assembled at Christchurch today. The English team left for the south last night, accompanied by the Wellington and Nelson members of tho New Zealand team. The Auckland trio, G. L. Weir, P. E." Whitelaw, and H. G-. Vivian, who1 were delayed by the dislocation of tho Main Trunk j railway line, arrived at Wellington this morning and wore anxious to got to Christchurch today. Inquiries were made regarding a trip down by air, but nothing in. this direction had been arranged up to the time of going to press, and it was expected that they would go south by boat tonight. _ Nothing could bo. clone in this direction, however, and the players will leave by tho Wahino for. Lyttelton tonight.
