'7 With the purpose of tendering .for an aerial service between Australia" and Singapore, a company under the. name of Australian Empire Airways^ Limited, has been registered in Sydney, with a capital of £200,000. The company intends establishing an aerial transport company and acting as" agent for Imperial Airways. The first 7 directors are Sir Eric Gcddes andMessrs. A. G. E. Woods, Humphrey, T. R. Bavin, F. J. Smith, and A. E.t Rudder. ' ? According to a message from Lon* r don, Imperial Airways, Ltd., statedthat the object of the aerial transport company established in Sydney was to facilitate Anglo-Australian aerial, co^ operation in the establishment of .an' Anglo-Australian air route.
