MATTER FOR CONFERENCE
STATEMENT BY RUNCIMAN

In the House of Commons today the President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Runciman, stated the steps which wero taken to have tho question of foreign shipping subsidies brought forward at the recent session of tho Preparatory Commission of the .World Economic Conference. The question was referred to in the section of the draft agenda, prepared for the Conference,, which dealt with the organisation of production and trade.
