"Evening Post" Photo. CLEANING UP AFTER YESTERDAY'S GALE.—Much silt was deposited on the bitumen at the corner of the Hutt Road and the entry to Kaiwarra Gorge after the heavy fall of rain in the early hours of yesterday morning had created flood conditions in the gorge. The staff of the City Corporation hosed and swept the road to make it safe for traffic.
