. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) - NEW PLYMOUTH, February 15. Not guilty on both charges was the verdict of the jury, in the Supreme Court today after the trial of ArthurWilliam Lowe, who was charged with driving his car negligently, causing bodily harm to William Ross: Cochrane in circumstances which, if death had taken place, he would have been guilty of manslaughter. ' Cochrane had received serious injuries, and was in hospital for twenty-eight weeks. The collision occurred on a corner at Opiinakc. Leonard Bernard .Dombroski was acquitted by the jury, after trial on charges of assaulting and causing bodily harm to Edgar Denton Tate. The case arose from a disturbance -at Waitara on January 7 between strikers and free labourers at the freezing works. Tate had his nose broken. Evidence for tbe police was that an attack was made by Dombroski and another man, McGreal, who had since disappeared. The defence held that witnesses were mistaken as to who struck the blows. The jury disagreed on charges against Andrew Charles William Krause of stealing 72 sheep, valued at £36 10s, at Kotare. There were alternative charges of receiving stolen sheep. A new trial next session was ordered, . ",."." j
