The Auckland Presbytery bas nominated the Rev. Professor John Dickie principal of the Presbyterian Theological' College atDunedin, as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church for 1934 states a Press Association message from Auckland. Professor Dickie has also been nominated by the Ashburton Presbytery. A tender has been let for alteration and • considerable addition to the New Zealand Hosiery Mills factory in Home Street, at a price of £3397. The addition will be of steel frame construction and is designed to permit of the factory being built up to three storeys at a'later date. The architects are Messrs. Atkins and .Mitchell, and the successful tenderer is sMr. E. S. Knight.
