EXCHANGE AND SAWMILLING
The sawmilling industry in New Zealand has received a setback, except so far as exporters are concerned, as a result of the raising of the exchange rate, said Mr. A. Seed, one of the employers' assessors in the engine drivers' dispute today. Mr. Seed said he thought, however, that when the effects of the increased monetary circulation bcame , apparent in the country in about six months' time, the industry, would benefit.
