SHOOTING MISHAP
MAN WOUNDED IN .CHEST
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") PALMEKSTON N., This Day. An unfortunate shooting mishap occurred near Shannon, last evening, the victim being Cecil James Wood, aged 18 years. It appears that Wood and a companion were out seeking rabbits and had separated. Seeing a movement in the scrub, the friend fired and Wood received the charge in the chest. He waa brought to the Palmerston North Hospital by car and his condition at midnight was reported to be only fairj
