BOAT SINKS OFF ALASKA

. (Eeeeived February 14, 10 a.m.) VANCOUVER, February 13. A message from Butch HaTbour, Alaska, states that thirteen persons, including Bishop Antonin, of Vancouver, ranking Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church in Alaska, aie reported to have lost their lives in a terrific midwinter storm in which the sixty-foot vessel, the Umnak Native, sank near Umnak Island, in the Aleutians, on January 24. Three natives were saved. The others lost included the master, Captain Stankns, his wife and infant child, Captain Andrew Nelson, and a Russian priest, Father Mike Tnlakoss. The lost craft was a small wooden vessel of only 47 tons capacity. She was making a trip between trading points. _^^_^___^^
