EXTRA TROTTING MEETING
i The Greyniouth: Trotting Club has made' application; for a permit to hold a special two-day meeting at Greymouth later on in: -.the.season..- ' .: - ' ' . :, ; _ It- is understood that the Nelson Trot-: ting Club :is considering abandoning its' :meeting this year. It had been suggested: that the Nelson Meeting should be held; in Greymouth, but previously this course1 had proved unsuccessful financially to both' the Nelson and Greymouth Clubs. If the Greymouth Club's request is! granted the meeting will probably be held: in June. The matter of dates, class of events, and amount of stakes will be decided upon as soon as- approval is given' to the application. ,
