K. VOITRE'S BIG LEAD
K. Voitre continues to add to bis tally on the jockeys' honours list, and four more successes came- his way last week, twice on Eminent and twite on Clangor at the Taranaki Meeting. He lias nowreached the Bixty mark. At this period last season Voitre had ridden only thirty-seven -winners. H. Gray was then in the lead with fifty-two wins. As Voitre ended up last season on top with eighty-three wins it is clear that he now has a great chance o£ reaching the century this season. Voitre is. well clear of the rest of the jockeys' field. L. J. Ellis is next with thirty-six wins, and then follow A. H. Eastwood (30 wins), and B. H. Morris (26 wins).
