GRAND OPERA HOUSE.
Brilliant Jn acting, stage setting, and sequence 'Whoopee Nights," which the Frank Aell-J. c. Williamson vaudeville-revue company is now performing at the Grand Opera House, is one of the best revues it has yet played. George Wallace, the diminutive comedian. Is at his Dest in a variety of roles which give him scope for humorous interpretation, and, with Maurice Barling, shows himself to be a fine stepdancer. He has the audience in continual outbursts of laughter Miss Ella Shields gives another excellent performance as a male impersonator, her representation of "Burlington Bertie" being a memorable one. The supportIng cast is particularly strong, and includes acrobats, singers, and dancers, all of whom infuse a verve into the revue that renders it a pleasing refuge from business worries. There are some spectacular scenes, and excellent ballet work. The programme will be repeated every afternoon and evening this week.
