CIVIL SERVICE TOURNEY
TODAY'S PLAY,
The- annual Civil Service bowling tournament is being played on the Hataitai and Thorndrin greens today. The greens are in good order, but the wind.is proving troublesome, although in the.various sections some good bowling is being- witnessed. In view of the number of entries, the games are being confined to thirteen heads. Prior to the start of play at the Thorndon green, Mr. Robertson welcomed the competitors and also took the opportunity of expressing thanks to the clubs providing the greens for the tournament.
