n.?n, Sst" rd?y the annual picnic of the Roseneath School was held -In Seatoun Park In glorious weather. Thanks to the way in which the residents of the Boseneath district had responded to the appeal for assistance, the committee were enabled to give tha children an excellent time. Prizes for a long iS of aporte MQeu lOr tne Children, and hot water, tea, etc. were supplied. In the morning a cricket match. Committee r. School, was won by the school team. After tha sports Mr. F iy Moore, a former member of the committee, presented the prizes to the winners. In a tug-of-war. Boys v. Girls* the latter won, lareely by" excess of numbers. A pull between adulte of both sexes caused much amusement. Thanks are due to the tramway officials and the Director of Beserves for their consideration which helped to make the outlne a success.
