.. The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club continued its championship series on Saturday with a match over 300 and 600 yards. There was a small muster of members.' but the presence of Mr. F. Morgan, president of the Brunnerton Rifle Club, and ?,-5 ™cc, members'of the Petone Defence Eifle Club who wished to practise over the snort. ranges, made a full complement. A, strong fishtail winds marred an otherWise perfect day. Its effect at 300 yards was not noticeable, but at 600 yards it proved disastrous to most of the marksmen.
