PLAY IN PENNANTS LYALL BAY'S GOOD DAY The senior and junior pennant competitions were carried a stage nearer completion on Saturday in excellent weather. Only two more I'ounds have now to be played. Lyall Bay had a particularly bright day, scoring 100 per cent, in senior matches and also winning their junior pennant match. A sensational termination was witnessed at the Thorndon green in the senior match. Hodgson, of Newtown, was 9 down on the nineteenth head, but on the twentieth he scored 8, the possible, and then a three on the last head, winning the match by two points.
