Miss Coryton and Miss Davies, England, who are touring New Zealand, have been the guests of their Excellencies the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe at Government House, and will leave this evening >or the South, en route to the Franz Josef Glacier.
Mrs. J. N". Lowry, who has been visiting Wellington, returned yesterday to Hastings. She will leave Wellington this week by tha Wanganella for Sydney.
Mrs. Douglas Whyte, Karori, and her children are spending a holiday at Eaumati Beach.
Miss Jacqueline Ormond, who has been visiting the South Island, passed through Wellington on Saturday, on her return to Hawke's Bay.
Mr. and Mrs. Balph Lowry, who were the guests of Mrs. Harold Johnston, Hobson street, during the week-end, returned to Taihape last evening.
Mrs. B. Welton-Hogg (Grant load) and her mother, Mrs. Kirkland (Sydney), who have been touring in the North, returned to Wellington io-day.
Mrs. Lindsay Gilmour, Lower Hutt, returned home yesterday morning after spending seven weeks in Christen urch and Invercargill.
Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Elliott ana Miss Jessie Elliott, trho have been spending the summer months at Silverstream, returned to town last week.
Mrs. D, G. Prance, who has been spending a few days in Auckland, is expected to return to Wellington tomorrow morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Galbraith and Miss Buchanan, Palmerston North, motored to Wellington for the week-end.
Miss Blanche Sanders, who has been the guest of Mrs. A. M. Johnson, Lower Hutt, has returned to Christchurch.
Mrs. F. A. Knight, Wellington; is staying at Karehana Bay, Plimmerton.
Miss M. Bourke returned to Wellington during the week-end, aiter a visit to Christchurch. \ Miss E. Athek, Wellington, is a visitor to Auckland.
Mr. and Mrs. Cameron, Palmerston North, are spending a-holiday at Karehana Bay, Plimmerton.
Mrg. E. A. Reid, Earotonga, and her daughter, Miss Mamie Eeid, have taken up their residence at Blythswood, Willis Street.
Mr.' and Mrs. E. G. Lane, Oamaru, are visiting Wellington.
Mr. and Mrs. H. JV Buck have re:urned to Wellington after a holiday spent in Christehurch.
