Competition by United.Kingdom and Continental buyers .was active, and prices as compared with preceding auctions ruled about the- same for crossbred, higher par to 5 per cent, for merino^ Fine grades crossbred in' demand. Good demand for crossbred lambs. Of the offering of 3200 bales, 3000 'bales were sold. Quotations: 56:58's full-woolled sound pelts, 7d; three-, quar.ter-woblled sound ; pelts, s%d|" halfwoolled sound ipelts, 49id;; '48-50's, fullwoolled sound pelts, ,5Hd; three-quarter-woolled.sound pelts, 4%d; half-woolled sound pelts, 4d; 44-4^'s, full-woolled ■ sound pelts, 4%d; three-quarter woolleft sound pelts, 3%d; half-woolled sound pelts, 3%d; 40's 'full-woolled sound pelts, 3%d; three-quarter-woolled sound pelts, 3%d; half-woolled sound pelts, 3d. All grades, short and shorn, 2d-3d.
