AERO CLUB'S FIRST PICNIC
The first annual picnic of the Wellington Aero Club was held at Maoribank yesterday. About eighty members of the club and their friends were present, and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Races for young and old were held during the afternoon, and the warm weather tempted many to bathe in , the Hutt River. Included .among those present were a number of "Evening Post" scholarship entrants. ■ .
At the Mount Cook Police Court to-day, before Mr. W.. H.- Coy, J.P., two'first offenders for drunkenness were convicted and discharged. I
Messrs. C. W. Price and Co., 91 Dixon street, will sell furniture, carpets, two ■pianos, etc., in the mart at 1.30 p.m. tomorrow.
