Mr. Justice Herdman said that the two pedestrians were dressed in black, and as it was evening they were probably hard to see. He was not .satisfied that the prisoner had been driving negligently or too fast, but it had been proved that he had not kept a proper lookout. . It was not a case for imprisonment. The prisoner would be fined £100, to be paid within three months, and his licence would be cancelled for three years. ?
