A large public meeting of Indian citizens in. Bombay xonndly condemned the Bound Table Conference proposals as falling far short of the legitimate aspirations of the most moderate opinion in India.
The main, criticism was directed against the Tieeroy's retention of powers of overriding "the .Legislative Assembly and also against the financial safeguards. • .
