LONDON'S CAPTAIN

John Ockernal, 87, 1927, West street; Oakland, retired ship master and close friend of , the late Captain Kobert Dollar, has died at Highland Hospital m Oakland, after a brief illness. The survivor of two shipwrecks, Captain Ockernal was the master under whom Jack London sailed to get atmosphere for his famous sea stories.
