APPEAL DISMISSED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, 10th February. The appeal of the jockey M. McCarten against his two months' disqualification was dismissed. McCarten weighed in 71b light after coining first on Veilmond in the Flying Handicap at Rosehill last Saturday Veilmond was disqualified and McCarten was adjudged guilty of. gross carelessness, and ■was disqualified for two months.
