FOURTH TEST
SECOND DAY'S PLAY
AUSTRALIA RESUMES
BIG CEOWD PRESENT
flhltod Press 'Association—By Eleetrla Teleeraph—Copyright. '(Received 11th. February, 3.30 p.m.) BBISBANE, This Day. For the continuation of the fourth ■ cricket Test, England v. Australia, the ~ weather is hotter than it was yesterday, •when the heat was felt by the crowd as ' well'as by the players. This morning's " forecast suggests the likelihood of a ' thunderstorm. An hour before starting time the crowd assembled at the ground ■was estimated at 22,000, and the indications ,were that the accommodation would be inadequate. The English player, E. Paynter, is ill, and F. B. Brown is fielding in his place. J The wicket was still excellent, though perhaps a little dry, for.the resumption of Australia's first innings, -which yesterday realised 251 for three wieketa, Bradman and Ponsford^ being not out ~ with 71 and '8 respectively.-
