(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") MASTERTON, This Day. Much interest is being shown in. the proposed eel canning factory which, it is planned, is to start operations in the Pirinoa district. Many inquiries have been made as to when the factory will open, but no definite arrangement has yet been made, although it is proposed to start canning in March. The local representative of the company has not received definite instructions from headquarters. Another local industry, the flax mill at To Hopai, which has been idle for some years, will shortly be re-started. Preparations are being made for an early resumption of cutting.
