BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M. Charles E. Robertson and Thomas Donaldson were fined £2 10s and £1 10s respectively for speeding. Wilfred Bennett, Peter Hansard, and Jim Lyall were each convicted and ordered to pay 10s costs for riding bicycles after dark without lights. For failing to have an efficient silencer attached to a motor-cycle Albert Davies was fined £1 10s.
A fine of 10s was imposed on Henry Sproule for a breach of the parking regulations.
