The butter market is quiet. Danish is quoted at 106s to 108s, choicest salted New Zealand at 79s to 80s, Australian 77s>. Unsalted is quoted at about two shillings premium.. The cheese market is- slow. New Zealaud white 475, coloured 575. Messrs. Joseph Nathan arid Co., Ltd., are advised' by Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, under date 9th February, -that New Zealand butter is quoted at 79s p.er cwt; no business doing. New Zealand cheese, white, 47a per cwt; coloured, 575; the market is very quiet. Messrs. Samuel Page and Son report under date of 9th • February that the London butter market is quiet. Prices, with last week's quotations in parentheses, are: Danish, 110s to 112s (112s to 114s); New Zealand finest salted, 79s to 80s (77a to 795); Australian finest unsalted, 76s to 79s (74s to 78a); Australian finest salted, 75s to 77s (74s to 765); Australian G.A.Q., 72s to 74s (70s to 725). Cheese: The market is weaker. Prices: New Zealand white, 46s to 48s (45s to 465); New Zealand coloured, 57s to 58s (57s to 58s); spot price for Canadian white, 60s; to- 68s (60s to 68s); spot price for Canadian coloured, 60s to 68s (60s to 68s). .1 The' London market report' of Messrs.
