SALARIES ADJUSTMENT

REPORT IN FEW DAYS

The Adjustment Committee set up in accordance with the provisions of the National Expenditure Adjustment Act of last year has been sitting in Wellington during the last few days.

The committee, which consists of Mr. Justice Frazer, president of the Court of Arbitration, Mr. P. Verschaffelt, Public Service Commissioner, and Kr. A. B. Burgess, representing the various Public Service associations, has almost completed its work. Representatives of the various associations have been, heard by the committee, whose recommendations, it is understood, will be> made known at an early date.
