BORROWERS ONT LIFE POLICIES

j (To the Editor.) ] Sir,—"Burdened Borrower" has a letter in your issue of 7th February with reference to interest charged on loans on life policies, complaining that the New-Zea-land Government Life is the only-office that has reduced its interest on such loans^ since the coming into force .'of the 20 per cent, reduction. It is a pity that "Burdened Borrower" should have made such a statement without verifying its correctness. Writing for my own office, the Norwich Union Life, the oldest life office _in the world, I should like to state that immediately, the Act came into force our interest rate was at once reduced to comply with the Act.—l am, etc., FRANK WILLIS. , 9th February.
