MASTERTON SHOW.
Very large entries have been received •in the draught horse classes for the Masterton Show on 14th and 15th February, the entries: being double those of last year. ; The^dog trials have also attracted large entries, and the pony, hacks, and jumping Gentries for the ring events are. also ' large. A Inumber of horses ; from outside districts will be competing. A hall has been fully benched to accommodate over 200 dogs, and the entries will not be far short of this number. The grounds should be in splendid order after the recent rain. Solway is a recognised meeting place for friends and relations, and hot water.- is supplied free "to picnic' parties. "-*' -'■• "i
