THE NATIONAL ANTHEM ■ ~— . . —: Referring to the uncertainty which exists over the correct playing of the National Anthem, Captain T. Herd, conductor of the Artillery Band, stated today that two 'or three years ago His Majesty the: King expressed some displeasure at the various tempos at which the National Anthem was being played by bands and orchestras, and an' Army Order was issued directing that iri future the tempo to be used was 84 crochets to the minute.
