To-night in the Town Hall, Lord and lady Bledisloe -will attend the concert to be given by the boys of the Young Australia League. The party returned to Wellington today after" a successful tour of the North Island. In Christchurch the enthusiasm was so great that the greatest crowd ever seen in the Gardens was present when the V.A.L. boys assisted the local bands to go to the Dunedin contest* At the' Theatre Royal hundreds were turned. away, so great was the demand for seats. The tour of the Dominion has be'eh extended a week,; so that. Instead of leaving Wellington • for Sydney, as was the first arrangement, - the party will' now leave Auckland on Friday, 17th • February. Next Friday they bo to Masterton, then to Palmerston for the weekend, and on to Wanganul and New Plymouth. Many requests.have been received for tlie presentation of the most popular, numbers on the original programme, and where possible the requests .will ,be»-complied with. Prices have been reduced to 2s and Is, so that even greater popularity for the V.A.L. boys should be experienced. The final concert will take place on Thursday evening. The plan is at The Bristol.
