G. Hatfield won the -weekly stroke competition -with a card of 86-14—72. Other cards were: J. B. Wallace, 78-2—76; W. T. Wilson, 87-11—76. In the final of the mashie competition J. B. Wallace beat L. D. Matthews 2 up after a very even aame. At one stage Wallace -was 4 up, but Jlattliews, who was playing well up to_ his handicap, won four holes in succession, thus squaring the game. Wallace has played consistent golf throughout the competition.
