WHEAT QUOTATIONS
MONTREAL, 6th February. Chicago wheat: May 47 5-8 cents a bushel; July, 48 3-8 cents; September, 48 5-8 cents; New York, cash, 56% cents. ' LONDON, 6th February. Wheat cargoes to-day were dull. "Sellers reduced their limits 3d. Parcels were 3d down. Futures:—London, FebruaryApril, 19s 9d per quarter. Liverpool: March, 4s VAd a cental; May, 4s 7 5-8 d; July, 4s- B%d. Contracts have been awarded by the New, Foundland Railway Department for the cutting -of about 80,000 tons of pitprops, to be exchanged for 40,000 tons of Welsh coal. No money passes in this transaction.
