The price on 3rd January was 123s 9d per oz, on-4th January 123s 4d, on 9th January' it fell to 1235, on 10th January it-was; 122s- Iffd, on 12th January 122s B%d, and on 24th January 121s 7d. Yesterday a London'cablegram quoted gold at 119 a 9d.l : -~ .. .
