The two-dividend rule was later replaced by one which gave'i clubs the option of paying two dividends of 75per.centl;on the first horse, and 25 per cent.- on the second horse, or three dividends of equal proportions "■ on the first, second, and third horses, or percentages of 50, 30;. and .20 per cent. No; other club. except the Oamaru' Trotting Club tried the three-dividend method." At the last meeting of delegates, to conference,: the percentages were1 changed- to.^o, :20,; and _10.
