AUCKLAND'S PLANS

Subject to the itinerary, mode, and; distance of travelling being submitted to the Australian Amateur Athletio; Union, no objection., was taken by the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletio Association last evening, to Auckland Centre's proposal to bring a team of Australian athletes to the Dominion for a brief tour, beginning at Wanganui on 15th or loth March aud concluding-with.*a meeting at Auckland on 25th-March.., Other centres included in the itinerary are Wellington, luapier, and JRotorua, and the minimum estimated, cost of the tour ia £If D. The letter pointed out that although the Auckland Centre would like to invite live men, the size of the team would depend finally on whether the other centres would agree to take them.
