I TORONTO, 18th January. As a climax to disorderly scenes in the City Council chamber, when an unemployed delegation cheered for Russia, the Mayor, Mr. Stewart, told the members of it that, if they knew a better country they should go to it. The police were ordered to eject a man. who, the Mayor said, was a notorious Communist and agitator, in trouble in three cities previously.
When none' accepted tho offer of free transportation to Russia, the Mayor ordered the hall to be cleared.
