SYDNEY WOOL. MARKET.
SYDNEY, 18th January. At the Sydney wool sales to-day 11,422 bales were offered, of which 10,684 were sold by auction and 2344 disposed of privately. There was very strong general competition. The market ruled equal to the previous day for all descriptions. Greasy merino sold to 18& d.
