She is due at Wellington on 2nd February, Lyttelton on 4th February, and New Plymouth on Bth February. The Elise was built in 1931 by Armstrong, Whltworth, arid Co., Newcastle, and is of a gross tonnage of 7filO. The Armadale arrived at Auckland on Monday, and is due *ere on Saturday. The Armadale leffMontreft on sth November, and three days later a fr«sh north-east gale was experienced. On 9th'November the wind had increased to hurricane force, and was accompanied by mountainous seas and a high swell which caused the vessel to labour heavily. Ui she had not loaded she did not ship much water and no damage was done. At midday the vessel had to be hove-to for 16 hours. Early in the morning of 10th November the hurricane reached its greatest force, but three hours later the storm abated and the vessel resumed her course for Sandy Hook, about 30 miles away. THE MONSUNEN. Danish ketch-Monsunen, which put In at Wellington for repairs in the course of a world tour, is expected to sail at 2 p.m. on Saturday for Denmark, via Cape Horn. It is expected that the voyage will take about 125 RIGMOR AT AUCKLAND. Although she was built- over a year aco the f*?,?" ? igmor4 whlch arrived at Auckland'yesterday from Los Angeles, is on her maiden voyage. After her launching at Gotfenberg (Sweden) in 1931, the vessel was laid up and was not commissioned until chartered for her present voyage. A i vessel of 4840 tons, the Rigmor which carries an all-Norwegian crew has twin screws, driven by motors which on the present voyage, have given tha ship an average speed of 11 knots. She has a careo capacity of 9650, tons. This can be loaded in from three to four hours and can be discharged in from 12 to 14 hours.
