MASTEftTON, This Day. Another good tally was recorded at the Waingawa Works yesterday when. 6129 sheep and lambs, mostly sheep, were slaughtered. In addition a number of cattle, and about 200 pigs were killed. ,
A. tower o£ steel and aluminium more than 2000 ft in height has Leen proposed for the World's Fair at Chicago in 1933. Mr. Frank A. Eandall, consulting engineer, the originator of the project, says that such a tpwer is practicable from an engineering standpoint, and that it could be erected in seven months. His design resembles that of the Eiffel Tower of Paris, but the new tower would be double height pg that structure. '
