EARLY MORNING VISIT
TWO ARRESTS MADE
l (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day.
A hurried visit by the police to a store owned by N. Sampson, Sentry; Hill, at 1.30 o'clock this morning, resulted in two men, with a motor-car being caught almost red-handed in the burglary of the store. It is understood that a search of their homes in New Plymouth brought to light a considerable quantity of groceries,^ tobacco, clothing, etc., missed from other places. Later, two men appeared before Justices of the Peace, and were charged with being on premises with a felonious intent. On the application of the police, they were remanded to 25th January. Bail was refused. ' ;
