A BULLOCK IN WILLIS STREETS.— A view of Willis street in 1860, showing a type of vehicle not seen in the city nowadays. On the left, just showing, is the balcony, of the original Empire Hotel, and Miller's Commercial Hotel, now the site of the Grand Hotel, is on the right. Leaning against the bullock wagon is Mr. Eagle, a well-known resident of Karori.
