SUBURBS CLUB

The Suburbs Defence' Rifle Club filed a match at Trentham on Saturday over ranges of 300 and 600 yards. The 300 yards was practice only, but the 600 yards was used to complete the match commenced on sth November, but abandoned on account of the rain. The weather was excellent on Saturday, but a fresh southerly, wind was apt to upset calculations. The scoring was unaccountably low, top-scorers at 600 yards being R. Pringle And L. Cheyne, with 43 each. B. Pringle, a hardy veteran, tops the handicap list for the 500 and 600 yards, and was also top, equal with L. Cheyne and S. F. McLean, in the_ gun score.
