Advice was received to-day from. T. C. Lowry that business prevented him from taking his place in the- "Wellington team to meet Auckland in the Plunket Shield match at Auckland, commencing on Friday. This means a change in the captaincy of the Wellington team apart from' the selection oi" another player.. The team is to leave for Auckland on Wednesday aftertioon.
