GIFTS TO LONDON UNIVERSITY

At' yesterday's meeting of the London University Court it -was announced that various city companies were making gifts to tho University aggregating £40,000. These benefactions Trill be applied toward meeting the cost of the ceremonial hall of ihe new university to be erected on a site at Bloomsbury, London,
