DRUG COMPANY REPURCHASE
FINANCIAL DISTURBANCE
(Received 14th January, 9.30 a,m.) LONDON, 13th. January. The Treasury has intervened forbidding tho'repurchase from the American interests of the control of Boot's Pure Drug Company, on the ground that it is impossible for Britain to find 23,000,000 dollars to pay the American holders without seriously disturbing sterling and exchange.-
