SAFE LANDING IN A FIELD
(Received 14th January,, 11.30 p.m.) • AMIENS, 13th January.' Sis English passengers had a thrilling experience when- a Union airliner ignited in mid-air. The wireless operator fought the flames with a chemical extinguisher till a, safe landing was made in a field. The aeroplane was then consumed. Nobody was injured.
